چکیده
• Thermal comfort and air quality was successfully coupled for outdoor index. Moderate to very strong heat stress observed during daytime. Statistically significant hotspots poor were identified. Poor zones clustered around large metropolitan areas. Operational framework will serve as a forecasting tool activities. Current bioclimate indices provide insufficient information about the combined effect on human physiology in spaces. This work examined, scale gridded meteorological observations, including temperature, wind speed, solar radiation, relative humidity, derive Universal Climate Index (UTCI) at hourly intervals along with index (AQI) derived from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) observation stations. UTCI AQI into single using geospatial analytics newly developed lookup table approach. High risk areas identified Moran's I Getis-Ord GI* statistics. summer months of 2015–2019, ranging 26 °C 38 °C. Coastal regions consistently experienced higher noon due humidity but subsided cooler circulation ocean, especially morning evening. Results also indicated vulnerability this region impact based 95th percentile values. The final products analysis can valuable insights urban planning preventative measures ensure improved public health environments.

15 صفحه اولAir Quality and Thermal Comfort in Office Buildings: Results of a Large Indoor Environmental Quality Survey
This paper presents results of over 34,000 survey responses to air quality and thermal comfort questions in 215 buildings in US, Canada, and Finland. Results show that 80% or more of the occupants expressed satisfaction with their thermal comfort in only 11% of the buildings surveyed. Air quality scores were somewhat higher, with 26% of buildings having 80% or occupant satisfaction. With respec...

Thermal stress is an important factor in many industrial situations, athletic events and military scenarios. It can seriously affect the productivity and the health of the individual and diminish tolerance to other environmental hazards. However, the assessment of the thermal stress and the translation of the stress in terms of physiological and psychological strain is complex. For over a centu...
